Today, September 10, is World Suicide Prevention Day. Raise the flag of HOPE! Join Crisis Services CEO Jessica Pirro and members of the Erie County Suicide Prevention Coalition in the lighting of three iconic Buffalo landmarks in yellow—the awareness color for suicide prevention.
There will be a press conference held at 2:00PM today at the Erie County Rath Building during which updates on new initiatives will be given, such as the rollout of the “Be A Man” public service announcement.
The Peace Bridge, Buffalo City Hall and mighty Niagara Falls will all be lit YELLOW to help spread suicide prevention awareness.
Remember, there’s always hope and Crisis Services is always here to help.
