Last Monday, three Williamsville East & North students stopped by to drop off proceeds from a fundraiser they put together to benefit Crisis Services. Pictured from left to right: Mike Steffan (Williamsville East), Tyler Durfee (Williamsville North) and Josh Surowiec (Williamsville North). The Williamsville North Varsity Hockey team did a teddy bear toss where students purchased teddy bears before the game between Williamsville East vs Williamsville North. After the first goal was scored, they threw the teddy bears onto the ice. The bears were then collected and donated to Children’s Hospital. They wanted the proceeds to go to Crisis Services in honor of Williamsville students who died by suicide last year. They raised $1110 dollars! Crisis Services is very grateful for the support and the generosity of all involved.
