Counseling
Individual counseling is offered for current or past survivors of:
- Rape
- Sexual Assault
- Incest
- Childhood Abuse
- Domestic Violence
- Family Violence
- Elder Abuse
Counseling is FREE of charge and available to the survivors and/or family members who feel affected by the experience.
Our counselors maintain a Masters Degree level of education and have undergone special training specific to the Advocate Program.
The counselor’s responsibility is to actively listen and support you. The counselor can let you know, that while this experience has disrupted your life for a while, this is normal and to be expected. Either short- or long- term counseling can help you explore your options, normalize your feelings, regain control over your life, and aid you in the healing process.
