MEN Who COOK 2016 saw our largest turn-out to date! We are happy to report over 400 attendees took part in the evening, raising $57,000!
Some highlights from the evening included the VIP Section, hosted by Kevin LoVullo from WGRZ’s Speil the Wine. Kevin paired two of the evening’s dishes with select fine wines for major sponsorship guests. Father Paul Seil took first place and “Chef of the Year” in the first Amateur Chef Competition, judged by Nickel City Chef’s Christa Glennie Seychew. Coming in second place was Dave Zack, Cheektowaga Police Chief, for his Korean BBQ ribs. Third place went to Jim Kuryak, from Niagara National Insurance, for his applewood smoked salmon crostini with horseradish crema and pickled onions. Below are just a couple photos. For more pictures of the event, please check out our Facebook albums. We had two very talented photographers that evening who did a wonderful job capturing the fun and the food! Thanks again to CK Photographic Systems and David Puleo Photography. An immense thank you goes out to everyone who made the 10th MEN Who COOK the success that it was. Keep October 3, 2017 open for next year’s event!
