Check in with your friends and family members. If it seems like someone you care about is not in a healthy place, reach out your hand and let them know they are not alone. It only takes one person to make a difference in the life of another.
If you are looking for support, curious about what services we offer, interested in community resources, or simply need to talk to someone who you know will listen, please call Crisis Services‘ 24-hour hotline at 716-834-3131. Help is always just a phone call away.
Throughout May, Crisis Services will be sharing posts with tips, tools, and messages about mental health, participating in Twitter chats, and overall shining light on how we can all help #EndTheStigma. If you haven’t already, consider taking Erie County’s Anti-Stigma Coalitions’s pledge to end stigma surrounding mental health. Crisis Services is proud to be on of the 16 organizations of the Erie County Anti-Stigma Coalition.
This month Crisis Services is also featured in the May issue of Buffalo Health Living! If you receive the hard copy we are on page 33, or you can read the article right here: Buffalo Healthy Living Article
