Anyone of any age who is experiencing a personal, emotional or mental health crisis can call 24 hours a day. When you call Crisis Services you will always speak with a professional counselor or trained paraprofessional volunteer. Our phone counselors are dedicated to providing the best services to every caller. We provide crisis counseling, suicide prevention, support, information and referral. In addition we:
- Serve as the center of agency operations receiving over 100,000 calls annually
- Provide immediate response to all callers on a 24 hour a day basis
- Provide immediate access to all Crisis Services Programs including Outreach, MCRT and Advocate and Homeless Services
- Have a Kids Helpline program that provides school-age children, adolescents and parents immediate and confidential support 24 hours a day
- Kidscrisis.com website offers moderated group and private chat sessions along with message boards to get help/assistance and information

Homeless Hotline:
Crisis Services Hotline is available 24/7 and is staffed with professionals specially trained to assist callers in a crisis. We have specialized training in housing and homeless related issues. Homeless Hotline Counselor are available 7 days per week to assist individuals & families who are homeless or facing eviction.
Emergency Housing After-Hours:
The Department of Social Services has contracted Crisis Services to serve homeless individuals in need of emergency shelter when DSS-Emergency Housing is closed.

and 24 hrs/day Weekends & Holidays
Individuals may access this service by calling Crisis Services 24/7 Hotline at 834-3131 or 911 (who will patch the caller through to Crisis Services).
Kids helpline at 716.834.1144 and www.kidscrisis.com are a part of the Phone Counseling Program. These services are 24/7 and offer immediate response and access to all Crisis Services Programs as well as moderated group and private chats and message boards. The kidscrisis.com website also offers information on a variety of issues related to youth and thier families. You can also find links to other helpful websites that concern youth.
Chautauqua County Hotline
Chautauqua County Mental Health has contracted with Crisis Services to manage that County’s 24 hour mental health hotline. Chautauqua County Residents can reach us at 1-800-724-0461.
Services include immediate crisis intervention, supportive counseling, information and referrals and connect with services if immediate on site intervention is needed to address the mental health crisis.
