The Mobile Crisis Response Team for Children and Adolescents (MCRT) provides immediate crisis intervention and response 24 hours a day 7 days a week to any family in Erie County who is experiencing a mental health or behavioral crisis. The MCRT can provide comprehensive behavioral, lethality & mental health assessments, family specific safety planning & parent / child education until the age of 17.
The goal of the MCRT is to divert children from unnecessary presentations to psychiatric emergency rooms and residential placement. The MCRT provides services consistent with the Wraparound Philosophy. This is a community based approach, resulting in a strength based, family focused, and culturally competent delivery of services.
