In honor of #50YearsofHelpandHope at Crisis Services, we will be sharing #50StoriesofCrisisCare: fifty stories written by past and current clients, employees, volunteers, donors and board members about the impact Crisis Services has had on their lives.
The goal of #50StoriesofCrisisCare is to go beyond the statistics (e.g., Crisis Services helps approximately 100,000 people in our community each year) and gather first-hand accounts that highlight the work Crisis Services has done over the past fifty years and continues to do every day.
We are so grateful to every single person who shared their story with us. You made us laugh, cry, learn new things; and feel immense satisfaction, inspiration and hope. Most of all, you reaffirmed our commitment to our work and strengthened our passion for creating a community where anyone in crisis can find safety, help, and hope.
By giving us permission to share your story with the community, we are hopeful that it will make our friends and neighbors in Buffalo and Erie County feel the same.
